BordQ AI Voice Changer
Voice Changer transforms your microphone in real time using either trained AI voice models or built-in Local FX effects. It is a Pro feature and is not available during the free trial.
Unlocking
Voice Changer is unlocked by a Pro license (which bundles it) or a standalone Voice Changer add-on key. The Unlock button inside the Voice Changer panel opens the feature-key form.
Main controls
Enable Voice Changer routes your microphone through the selected voice mode in real time. Voice Mode switches between AI Model and Local FX. Hear Yourself monitors your transformed voice through your headphones. Voice Model selects any installed AI model. Pitch Shift runs -12 to +12 semitones.
Getting AI voice models
- Open Voice Changer → Model Library.
- Curated tab — fastest: pick a listed model and click Download. When done, it appears in Installed and in the Voice Model dropdown.
- HuggingFace tab — enter the repo in username/model-name format and the exact .pth filename. Click Download from HuggingFace.
- Import .pth file — for models downloaded from other trusted sources. Extract archives first, then import the .pth from the Installed tab.
- After installing: go to Settings, choose the model under Voice Model, wait for "Model Loaded", then enable Voice Changer.
Local FX mode
Local FX uses built-in effects without AI models or GPU requirements. Available presets: Deep, High, Echo, Reverb, Robot, Radio, Megaphone, Alien, Reverse. Controls: Pitch Shift, Echo, Reverb, Drive, Effect Mix.
Engine and GPU
AI Model mode works best with the AI engine installed and an NVIDIA GPU for low latency. CPU mode works but has higher latency. The Engine Status panel shows AI Server state, the loaded model, and GPU acceleration status. VC Priority (Game / Balanced / Voice) controls scheduling when the GPU is under load.
